Covid-19 Plan

We are adjusting the way we are doing things. 

During this time parents and visitors may have limited access to the Daycare.

Our plan is to keep all children as safe as we can, our plan is as follows:

  • All hard surfaces and commonly touched surfaces are being disinfected each hour.

  • Children and Adults will be required to wear their masks while inside the facility. 

  • As weather allows, children will spend more time outside where masks are not required. 

  • At this time we ask that shoes be left at the door.

  • During drop off Temperatures will be taken, any children with a temp over 100.4 will not be able to attend that day.

  • Temperatures will continue to be taken throughout the day. 

Below is a list of symptoms we will be watching for:

“People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

  • or are lethargic

 

* Children with two or more of these symptoms. will not be allowed to attend without a current doctor's clearance*

 

This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19.”

SCREENING AT HOME

  • Families/students, adults and staff should also screen themselves for respiratory symptoms such as cough and shortness of breath prior to coming to school each day. Families/students, adults and staff experiencing those symptoms should not attend school.

 

  • Families/students, adults and staff are recommended to take temperatures daily before going to school or childcare. Anyone with a fever of 100.4 or higher should not attend school or Daycare.

 

  • If a family member is sick at home please don't bring your child to care this is how illness spreads and this facility has little ones under 2 yrs that attend.
